Residence permit and permanent residence in Cyprus for investments in real estate, companies, funds.
The program for obtaining a permanent residence permit in Cyprus, which is called the “Cyprus Golden Visa” or “Cyprus residence permit for investment” is available for:
- investing 300,000 euros in a new property, purchased directly from the developer, in which the investor and his family can live or rent out,
- Investments in commercial real estate (offices, shops, hotels) for a total amount of at least 300,000 euros (excluding VAT).
– A combination of several objects is allowed
– Commercial real estate can be purchased both on the primary and secondary markets.
- Investments in Cypriot companies in the amount of 300,000 euros.
– The company must be registered and operate in Cyprus and have a physical office in Cyprus.
– The company must have at least five employees.
– The investor and his/her spouse can be shareholders of companies registered in Cyprus and receive dividends. They also have the right to work as Directors (without salary) in such companies.
- Investments in Cyprus investment funds in the amount of 300,000 euros.
– Acceptable types of investment funds AIF, AIFLNP, RAIF

How to get a Cyprus Golden Visa
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- Investors must be third country nationals and not EU/EFTA nationals
- Applicants must have no criminal record and no EU assets frozen as a result of sanctions
- Applicants must have an annual income of at least €30,000 (plus €5,000 per dependent) outside Cyprus
- Investors must have adequate health insurance.
Cypriot citizenship
Golden Visa holders can apply for citizenship after seven years, provided they reside in Cyprus and spend a full 365 days in the country before applying for citizenship.
